Definitely! A few more wears, and it will be as soft as it was before the dye… Can't wait to see what it looks like after a few months of wear. Definitely a "rockstar" piece, and it will be a staple in my wardrobe for the foreseeable future

Rockstar piece is right.  I dig it.  I think it goes well with the vibe of MF.  Well crafted and historical with a quirky personality.

Me too, I esp like the blue model. I was hoping he would have done more with The Skipper, but this collection seems more inline with his overall aesthetic.

A couple jackets from the skipper collection were nice, but I feel that overall, the 70's aesthetic killed it… Let's face it; the 70's were NOT a high point in fashion lol

Agreed.  I was a bit of a late adopter of MF so when the Skipper came out I thought I was doomed to scouring second hand markets for pieces from the old collections.  This newest collection is a nice return to what I consider the MF peak (Les Apaches, Viva, Frontier).

Same, and the more I look at it, the more I like it. I'm in a buying freeze, but I might somehow manage to squeeze one piece in to my wardrobe through my channels in Japan

I have a new Veste Belleville (or Veste Parisian as it is listed in Japan) in indigo herringbone headed my way soon.

Got the new MF jacket in (whatever it's called, I'm sure we'll see once the blog post is up) and it's probably the most indigo saturated clothing item I've ever handled.
It's a bit big as I got the jacket raw, so I'm going to soak it and it should shrink up a little. Hopefully the indigo settles a little as well. The fabric is something else, exactly what I was looking for in a jacket like this.
Excuse the crappy lighting, very cloudy out right now.






This indigo bleeding is just from handling the jacket for a few minutes!

Gave the jacket a warm wash since the soak didn't do much, didn't leave it in very long but I think it did the trick.
