Is the Sinker Weave fabric loopwheeled? It´s made in Wakayama, but most of the time it´s just described as tubular knitted…
-
Per Gordon Heffner of Blue in Green:
"The SDA Sinker Weave sweats are made on a circular knitting machine which produces a tube body fabric similar to a loop wheel machine but using sinkers which operate at a faster speed and thus a reduced cost. After it’s knit they brush the back of the fabric to give it a plus hand. Below is a link to more in depth information on sinker operations of knitting machines:

Just received a couple of one wash 14oz indigo selvedge denim SDA D5571 western shirts. At first glance and fit, they are very nice indeed
I've never previously gone for denim shirts due to the colour and lightweight fabric, but these are in a league of their own.

There is also the 9835 crew neck available which is loopwheeled as well but made of the super rare, super durable and super expensive Tsuri-ami cotton (I believe Nine Lives uses the same cotton for their crew necks?). It also comes in a lovely packaging:
And it was sold out pretty fast, too…

Looking to buy the X's-31 in size 34 or 36. If anybody has s pair, or knows somebody who knows somebody…

Been a while since there was any activity in this thread, so I thought I'd liven it up a bit. Here are my natural indigo 2017 Tokushima jeans that I picked up in the Self Edge Black Friday sale. They're supposed to be 18.5 oz denim, but they feel lighter than my 18 oz IH-634SII. Oh well, not that I care; I bought these strictly for the super irregular texture.

Excited to see more of that pair. I picked up a pair of natural indigo Dry Bones x Self Edge collabs from @madmonday a few years back. I love them. These SDA look even better. Please post some pics when time allows.

I'm a sucker for heavily textured denim. This is why I bought these jeans.

Liking those a lot. Congrats on some seriously textured goodness.

like the Sharpies @Chris
Agree about 634SII don't know if it's the overdye but they are heavy and crisp as hell.
Tokushima look good. -
This is a special feature on this pair- a leather patch on the inside of the back left pocket.
It's irritating as hell. Every time I try to put my wallet in my back pocket, it snags on the stupid patch. Eventually, I'm sure I'll get around to cutting it off, since it's not visible and serves absolutely no purpose.
