Our own @Hemi is part of this brand…

    http://www.lastandloom.com/

    LAST:
A mechanical form shaped similar to that of a human foot which gives shoes their unique shape and personality. Used by shoemakers in the manufacture and repair of shoes.

    LOOM:
A device used to weave cloth. The basic purpose of any loom is to hold the warp threads under tension to facilitate the interweaving of the weft threads.

    WELCOME TO LAST & LOOM.
Family, Friends, Community - Working together to support people, share our values and make products that have a genuine purpose beyond mere profit.

BEAUTIFUL THINGS MADE BY AMAZING PEOPLE
At Last & Loom, we're about keeping it real. Our products are all made by amazing artisans, using craft skills, techniques and materials that have in some cases, been passed down through generations.

Our range is truly made to last, rather than inferior, mass-produced, ‘this season’s fashion’.

Our range is not cheap. But it is classic, hardwearing and durable, making the true cost of ownership lower in the long term.

LESS IS MORE - GETTING BACK TO BASICS.
We're always looking to strip a product back to its core form and function, removing pointless embellishments in our quest for simplicity.

FROM THIS, LAST & LOOM WAS BORN.
    Boots, leather goods and clothing.

    WHERE WE ARE TODAY.
When coming up with Last & Loom, we always knew it was going to be more than just a company, it had to be a sustainable business, built and supported by people with complimentary skills and aligned ethics and values.

We're fortunate in that we've been able to build a community of friends, customers and suppliers who shared our dream, and have generously supported and helped us on our journey.

I'm posting this cause I've fallen in love with these:

            Thanks @Seul and hi @tmg, @Dion, @neph93.

That's the soft toe boot in soggy brown/roughout leather from local farms… tanned here as well. It's got the Sportsman Sole from Dr Sole.

Here's a few pairs just about finished up at the workshop. The workshop is in my good friends garage under his house on one the most beautiful beaches in the Winterless North of NZ. There's only about 20 houses on this stretch of coast and it's 12 hours away from my house... unfortunately!

On a world tour of some garment, @hemi very kindly provided this tiny wallet in a shipment to me when it was my turn, which has replaced my IH cordovan Mid as my go-to (haven't been able to bring myself to sell The Beast yet). Wanted to share the Evo and to thank @hemi.

Nevermind the puppy-chewed credit card corner poking out in the second photo 😃

              Think it, be it.
