I'm watching the David Duchovny series Aquarius at the minute, and while only based on historical events it made me realise that 2016 has only been shit based on a very short term perspective (let's say from the 90's up to 2015). Before that Europe and The US, large parts of Asia and parts of S. America were pretty turbulent places. That's without getting in to Africa. This rather facile analysis does ignore the problems inherent in the androcene era however… I'm with Craig Finn on this; gotta stay positive.

Random thoughts after spending some time trying on many pairs of jeans, and fondling many more, I can honestly say that nobody is producing the variety and quality of denim that Iron Heart is.

The new 14oz OD is incredible, lighter but amazingly tough, the raw 21oz is hard and rigid, totally different animal to it's washed brother, the 17oz natural is full of character with amazing depth of colour.

Great work by all the team at Iron Heart, our denim wearing future is in safe hands
