I had to send some money over to @Giles to cover excess shipping for a pair of motorcycle boots that I wanted sending over to Australia. (Thanks for sorting that out.)
PayPal very helpfully had a "send regular amount" option beside the payment box.

My "new" girlfriends birthday is on 23rd December. Nuff said.

My brother's is the 28th. Within 3-4 days on either side of Christmas is a truly terrible time to have a birthday. Everyone forgets.

Found out that the Location where we want to hold our wedding booked the same day twice. We had a final Reservation since April and now they tell us that they gave the date to someone else. Trying to fix it right now, but we're pretty devestated right now.

Shit. You have my sympathy. That kind of thing is awful.
Having been through something similar myself , one way to look at it is that this place may not be right for you. Do you really want to fight for this place when they've demonstrated their incompetence over such a basic thing as booking?

This is their problem @Max Power, not yours, so dont accept it. They've dropped the ball so they MUST sort it. You have had your final reservation since April so they have no way out. Kick some arse buddy !!!!

Whilst I do agree with @neph93 , do make the bastards help you out. I know a little bit about this business and I would guess that they have found another customer who they believe they can extract more money from. That's jut not acceptable…...

I would, but it's not that easy finding a Location that you a) like and b) can afford in a big City for a summer wedding. After all it's been 7 months since we agreed on everything. I don't think we'll have plenty of Locations to choose from, besides we organised everything around that date already.
But I'm still positive they'll have to stick to the confirmed date.
Go make their life hell…...
