just picked up a PS4 on a black Friday sale over the weekend…yeah I'm a little late I know lol.

Anyways...super excited about Red Dead Redemption 2 coming out in a year, also want to check out these mafia games you guys are talking about.  Guess I should start with the first Mafia as opposed to jumping right in at Mafia III???

Also, my PS4 came with a free copy of Uncharted 4, pretty cool game.

Definitely start with the first Mafia! Although the third one has nothing to do with the first two… as far as i'm aware.

I tried to buy a PS4 in the black friday sales but my GF twisted my arm and promised i wouldn't buy anything like that for myself so close to x-mas... then followed that up with saying she couldn't afford to buy me one but still insisting that i shouldn't buy one! I'm cured.

Already about 10 hours into FFXV, man I love this game.
I can see myself losing days / weeks to this game already.
Anyone who likes RPGs/JRPGs don't sleep on it!

@Broark That sounds awesome… I'm waiting on the FFVII Remaster, but I head they changed the gameplay from turn based into a hack and slash... we'll see how it is when it's out.

I've recently been playing Majora's Mask and Pokemon Sun on the 3DS and I have to say, I am loving them so so much.. Haven't played an actual Pokemon game for years now so it's been a real treat.

The FFVII remake should be interesting, the combat style is definitely not what you expect from a FF game but I kind of like it. There's still an element of strategy, you're not just running in hacking and slashing. If you do that you'll end up dying pretty quickly.

I still have uncharted 4, ratchet and clank, and the last guardian to get on PS4. Plus horde of games i've fallen behind on picking up on steam

Anyone been playing Fire watch? @Lindsey has a friend who worked on it and it's been a real surprise hit for me! The story is (excuse the jean pun) riveting! Spooks me out every time i play it so it's taking me a while to get through it but it's really addictive.

I didn't even manage to make it out of the lift in the opening sequence gets stuck in a corner looking up Pretty much my method of gameplay!

@wolfblood your user name reminds me of Glenn Danzig. Resident Evil 7 was alright. I guess it was more less made to be experienced in VR. I thought it could have used a little more enemy variety. And I like Resident Evil 4's emphasis on combat. I thought the game could have used a little more action and most of the molded you can just run past. It was way better than the trash that was Resident Evil 6.

Anybody here getting Nioh? I cashed in some hotel points and bought a PS4PRO.  I basically got it to play this game. I played the demo and it was the most difficult game I've ever played. But I love the theme of a Samurai rpg. I'm probably gonna get it and just practice until I can master the Ki pulse system. I hope maybe the final version of the game has some less powerful enemies at the beginning to grind levels and practice on.

Also, is anybody getting Nintendo Switch?  I am so excited to play Zelda Breath of the Wild.
