Glad you got it. It's such an awesome piece. If it helps I'm xl in most ih tops and wear l in the deck coat. Could have gone for xl too so i think youll be fine

I'm a bit unsure about snatching that jacket too… Tried it on and it looked nice but as you said. I felt it to be a bit roomy...

Roomy is good. Leaves space for layering and you will probably gain weight over the next years anyway. This jacket will last a  lifetime, so a bit extra room is great.
