fml….my XL olive showed up today and damn you guys are right.  What a freaking lovely shirt.  Jesus.  I wasn't even planning on picking this one up either, and now I want the dam grey one too!  Plus the solid UHF's in both colors, the overdye 14oz 777 jeans...this is at the point where it's not funny anymore.  @Giles you guys are killing it.

      @BloodnThunder , @neph93 , thank you.  There, I said it 😉

It takes a real man to admit when he's broken.

Enjoy the olive.  When I received my grey one of the first things I thought was, "should I get the olive too?"

Guess that I am more broke than y'all as I robo-copped all three! Couldn't pass 'em up as the shape and buttons reminded me of the IHSH-54 (albeit w/o side pockets).

My initial impressions are that the luminescence of the buttons contrast best with the charcoal. The woolen texture is really softened and showcased in that of the light grey while the green is reminiscent of a (not so soft) vintage military blanket. The double button cuff is a very appreciated feature as I find myself unbuttoning the top and single cuffing…especially when layering with jackets with shorter arms.

        WTB: IHJ-118-BLK/OLV XL, IHM-34-BLK L, IHSH-297-IND L, IHSH-399-ORA XL, IHWF-001-PUR L, IHSH-366-IND L

@Al6ert which color is your favorite would you say?

I also have to say that this a fantastic fit.  slimmer than any other IH work shirt I own or have seen.

^yes, fit for me (large) is close to that of last years UHF westerns with a tag longer length in the arms.

I'd be hard pressed to choose a fav color at this point. Initially: Charcoal had me, but my goto fall shell is black and other colorways work better for layering. I've been rocking the green over the last three/four days so ++voted for now?

I figured that would be the case, to hard to pick a fave.  I'm contemplating picking up another but cant decide on charcoal or grey and there's only one left in each in my size.

                  Thanks

My olive is my fave IH shirt since my wabash 62 in that fit, fabric and hardware are all in perfect harmony. Liked it so much that I ordered the grey when the restock came. It's stuck in customs right now but should be with me by the weekend.

I ordered an XL in olive and it's perfect, but I went for the XXL in grey as the measurements came up a little smaller. @Al6ert  did you notice much size variation between your three?

yeah I noticed that my olive was held up in customs longer than any other IH order I've placed.  It took almost a week to get to me which was odd.  I usually get my IH orders in 3 days.

I'm curious to see your thoughts on the grey one @neph93.  I went my usual XL on the olive as well and I didn't know there was much variance is sizing so thank for that heads up.

Props on getting all three!  Wish I could get the charcoal.  I really think these are standouts, even among all the great IH shirts.  I think I would call this top five (with 12, 20, 31mk1, and 55?).  This is a gem. Do yourself a favor, buy one if you can.  I genuinely just want more people to have a shirt this nice.

I didn't notice any difference in sizing and I (initially) tried on all three (tagged: larges) back-to-back-to-back. That being said, I haven't bothered to put a tape measure to 'em.

The olive XL fit me well, but could not be shorter or smaller in the chest and the grey came up a little smaller both ways. The XXL is the same length as my olive XL but a little wider in the body. We'll see how it goes.

The grey came and it's lovely. But the XXL was too big; a little long in the arm and too wide. I debated sending it back and exchanging it for the XL but impatience and the fact that the XL grey had measurements a little off the sizing chart caused me to give it a wash and check shrinkage. 40C and 800rpm, no soap. It's drying now… update tomorrow but I can say for sure that it's not a disaster.

@neph93 thanks for the input on the grey.  Do you still happen to have the measurements for the grey XL that you can PM me?

                                  Sure thing, @manufc10 PM incoming…

Otherwise I can report two things after the wash:
                                  1. I got modest shrinkage from the 40C/800rpm wool program machine wash. It now fits well. I didn't measure before and after but I'd estimate that I lost 2cm in length and arm length and a little less in the width.

                                  2. The hand of the fabric has not suffered from the wash. If a anything, it's softer.

I'm loving them both. The grey is absolutely special. A perfect mid grey, not too dark, not too light. The olive seems like the best colour for the fabric and cut of the shirt.  The charcoal is lovely too I'm sure, but I need another dark shirt like a hole in the head.
