Yeah, not a great finish to the match. We're still a point above you though 😉

Crazy amount of goals recently; the Prem last weekend, CL in the week and at St James's Park. Still not distracting enough to shift focus away from the embarrassing shambles that English football is at the moment. Who'd have thought it could possibly of got even worse than the Euros!?

Football is changing, it needs a shake up, the good times could never roll on forever for the fat cats of premier league football.

You guys seriously need to get shot of Bassong though, the guy is a liability.

Liverpool deserved to win tonight against ManUnited. Pity it's only a draw.

If I was a United fan I'd be embarrassed by that. United have never come to Anfield to play for a draw.

Edit: And by the way: Congrats to ManCity for beating Barcelona tonight.

                                    Just seen City's stats:

7 - The total of City’s tackles on Saturday the fewest in the Premier League, matched only by Crystal Palace. Everton made 22 in their 3-2 defeat at Watford.

                                    😶

Pep just learnt there are more than 2 good teams in this league! He has come from leagues where there was one or two dominant teams.

City will not win the league with PG playing that stupid sweeper-keeper nonesense.
It's too easy to nullify by pressing high up the pitch, where inevitably the keeper will try and play out from the back & make a mistake, or pass it to the defender who then comes under pressure. Bravo is a liability, as is Stones. You can see how both keeper & defender get flustered when being pressed, resulting in what they should have done in the first place and play it up the pitch. We saw this against Leicester. At one point Stones had the ball on his own goal-line with Vardy pressing him, & Slamani on the keeper. Resulting in the ball being hoofed up the pitch. The EPL is too fast, & PG is being found out.

In the UK keepers & defenders are not trained, from a young age, to piss about on their own 18yd line. They are in those positions because they are not skillfull enough with their feet. Let the keeper concentrate on stopping the ball going in the net, & let defenders defend.

The system can be played if you're in a league where the game is played at a glacial pace, (Germany, Spain, Italy), with defenders who are comfortable playing out with the ball at their feet.
