I finally got around to taking some pics of the new packers:

Going a ways back admiring everyone's Wesco's as I am just about to pull the trigger on a pair. @Engineer do you have any updates on these? They are gorgeous.

@BloodnThunder Thank you, sir! I haven't worn them as much as they deserve, but here's a picture from a few weeks ago. In bright light they're more of a burgundy-brown, and in ambient light they're primarily burgundy. I also lightly shined them with some Saphir neutral polish.

@Appfaff Nice!!! I bet you'll love them - they look like awesome boots! They'll be heavy as hell, too, with the extra midsole and full lining. My Packers are the heaviest boots in my wardrobe, and they're single midsole and unlined.

I've had my eyes on those, just not sure how Wesco sizing tends to run.

They seem to typically fit on par with whatever you measure on a Brannock device. If I remember correctly, S&S mentioned that these run a little narrow. I went with an 11E as I fall between a 10.5 to 11 and normally a D width.

In my admittedly limited experience a little small. I think it also depends on the last to a degree, and the MP and western toes are narrow.

Thanks for the feedback y'all, I think they might be too narrow in the toe for me.
My Viberg engineer boots are a size 12 and are a little big, but fit perfectly with an insole and some boot weight socks.

Joined the Wesco club yesterday. Went to a recently opened men's store, Division Road, here in Seattle on Saturday and made the wise choice, or mistake depending on how you look at it, to try on a special collaboration boot they did with WESCO. Basically fell in love with them but wasn't ready to pull the trigger on $650 boots. Slept on it two days and went back yesterday to snag them before someone else did. I'll try and get some real pics as soon as I can but for now here they are via Division Road, Inc. (Also encourage everyone to check out their other stuff. They're a great couple of guys that are really passionate and knowledgable about the brands they carry).

Great looking boots! The Domain roughout looks spectacular, but I'd prefer speed hooks for the last two lace loops rather than eyelets.

Agreed. I think speed hooks are about the only thing I'd change on the boots. Nowhere near a deal breaker though.

My Packers arrived! Damn are these beasts. They came without an insole so once they stretch I'll probably throw a red wing orthotic leather insole in them. I liken the heel to a Cuban heel
In height and angle, but the thick front sole (or whatever you call it) stables then out. After seeing Summ3rhays 2 tone vibergs I have wanted a pair of brown boots with contrast black suede and these work great!
