IHM-10 - N1 Deck Jacket - 2015 Edition
-
I'm 6'2
The sleeves will be long no matter what, unless you downsize 2-3 sizes. The cuff is supposed to cover your knuckles like in vintage N1s. The jacket looks cool with flipped up cuffs tho

Me too but I also want the vest. Maybe even more than the jacket itself [emoji51]

What do you guys usually wear underneath your N1s? I can layer up a bit under mine, but stuff like a hoodie or a UHF underneath makes it a little tight at the pits, not sure if I need to size up or if I'm just not meant to wear so much stuff under.

I live in Chicago so it will get pretty cold pretty soon. I'm just not sure what the proper fit for a deck jacket is, whether its slim with just light layers underneath or roomier so you can pack some layers underneath.
-
I already own one, I'm just not sure whether I need to size up to accomodate layers…
-
I think the best fit is to have enough room to layer up a CPO, or UHF underneath, if needed.

Just in case you find yourself on the North or South Pole [emoji6]

Temps have hit 0C here and I'm warm with a tee and UHF under mine. When they drop further it will be henley and UHF. It may be that it gets too cold for it by mid winter.
What's golden for me though is the windproof layer. On monday it was 1C but with an easterly of 8m/s straight outta Siberia, it was an effective -5C day. That wind cuts through everything I've ever owned but not this.
