@johnny5799 those look great. I love the electric blues. It looks like you have a cool house too. Lots of character.

Looking good man. These are the same jeans as released for the DWC, and they are my personal favourites in this denim, stunning jeans.

Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

Bummer they have to go. Their measurements are incredibly nice.

About 5 months, 2 soaks, 1 wash. Worn 5-6 days a week since the end of April. I think next summer I'm going to try some lighter weight denim, these were a little extreme. Now that it's cooling down they feel like amazingly soft sweatpants, so that's a big plus!

                        Giles,

I really think you need to reconsider dropping the Beatle Buster.  As a normal sized adult male (not 20 and so skinny a strong wind would knock me over), these are the BEST fitting jeans ever.  Coming in between the 634 (a little baggy for a fit adult) and the 666 (really close, but a bit tight in the thighs and low in the rise for an actual grown up), the Beatle Buster hits the perfect sweet spot…a fitted top block, enough room in the thighs for some muscle, and slim enough to be in style and not look like baggy "dad" jeans.  There's no better cut around!  I always thought this was a pretty popular item in your line-up.

I just ordered and received a pair from you, and love them!  I'm really hoping I can get another pair a year from now.

                        Save the Beatle Buster!!!

If it was popular enough, I would not be considering dropping it…

i actually feel the same way but would not have the time to spent in writing such an message. it is obvious that its about money and more people buying other stuff than the beatle busters.

all i can say to keep things short that after having a lot of ih gear, the busters are by fare the best cut for normal sized people (190/90), the 634 are too baggy, all those 23 different versions of slim, ultra slim, devil slim, slim and short, slim and long, whatever, do not go that well if your not into some fancy business and either sell jeans, produce them, are still at university or make art.

the ih816 had a great cut as well, but i guess they werent slim enough?

anyways, love you guys but this beatle was a nice jeans - should not have let go for 555,666,777,5678 and else.

The BB was my first premium denim and first IH - I now have jeans in the 555, 634, and 666 cuts (and some other brands) and I like them all - I like the variety - but if someone held a gun to my head and said "pick one", it would be the BB (oddly, my 2nd choice would be my 634 Vulcans which were not good sellers either). But the BB is imo the perfect tweener cut - it filled a niche in the IH lineup. Having said that, I have enough denim jeans to last several lifetimes, so another wave of denim lovers will have to step up to save the BB (if that's possible)! It may sound selfish, but "I got mine" :).  And I may grab a pair of the 18oz to put up for the future.

I too have the 18 oz edition on my radar. I love its character and hopepfully I'm going to be fortunate enough to grab one in the foreseeable future.

I've spent the last 4 years in the BB cut, I might have worn it longer than just about anyone. You guys make great points about it occupying a middle ground between the slim and full cuts, but if it really was a required niche then it would have sold more.

I love the BB's, I'll miss them, but Iron Heart can't invest in making a cut of jeans that simply don't move enough to justify the investment.

I don't disagree - ultimately IH consumers decide what styles endure and what's a footnote in IH history.

Maybe just make it in one denim, whichever one would sell the most (I assume the 21oz)? That way the cut is still available, but IH isn't investing a bunch of money and time in making a less popular cut in a bunch of different denims. Even though my favorite cut is now the 666, the BB is a very close second, and the more recent 21oz measurements seem to have solved the only two things that kept them from being perfect for me (the rise looks to be a touch lower and the waist a touch bigger).

Almost a year, 2 soaks and probably 6 machine washes.  These are my favorite pair to wear to work and see plenty of action every week.  Feel like I need to get one more pair before they are gone forever.
