I have to say, for over $300 less, you could get a stock boot minus the 2" longer strap and roller buckles, which probably can be had for a hundred or so.  Seems to be way overpriced.

I ordered a pair of custom Boss through The Bootery. I used Wesco's build tool for r&d, which also gives the Wesco price of the build. I don't feel the need to go into details but when I compared the Wesco price, plus shipping and taxes to The Bootery price, it left me wondering where Giles is making his money. It seems a more than fair pricing policy for those living outside the US, whom I assume are after all the customer base for thebootery.eu.

Exciting things happening on the Boss front.  So we've dropped the price on these by USD250 to $500 to make a bit of room….
