Wearing my old faithful IH-634S today. If you look very, very closely, you can see the Indigo Proof repair job on the hem.Every time I put these on again after an extended period of wearing another pair of jeans- lately, it's been the IH-634SII- I remember why this is my all-time favorite pair of jeans.

Thanks @Engineer . This has been a beautiful summer. I'm grateful to be here now….
I'm skipping back and forth across the mountains at the moment Santa Fe, Taos, Telluride, Denver, Boulder and Vail. I'm currently helping some friends in Littleton, CO, but that's just finishing, so I'll be somewhere else soon...
Evergreen seems like a magical place to grow up. I grew up in Texas

@Chris how is indigo proof's pricing? I have seen their work and it's impeccable, but I was curious as to how costly it was.
Depends on what gets done, of course.
The base charge for any repair is $50, and it goes up from there. My job wasn't too bad- the jeans were getting thin in a few spots and the right knee had a small hole; less than the size of a dime. Rain repaired the hole and reinforced both knees, the crotch, the left hem, and maybe one or two other small spots. I think that added about $20 to the bill (which includes return shipping). The work looks great and it added years to the lifespan of my denim, so totally worth it, in my opinion. As for how that shakes out compared to other places, I have no idea. I didn't even bother to comparison shop, since I've seen Rain's work, I know Tyler, and I trust them without hesitation.
One last thing- just like everything else, it's better (and cheaper) to do preventive maintenance, rather than wait for a catastrophe. Blowouts and Instagram worthy reconstructive surgery get pricy, so don't procrastinate.
