@rocket I'm fine with the mark. The Hoppers really need to get messed up, as I think that they'll age spectacularly.

Those Mocha Vintage boots look great. I really want to try something on the 2040 last, as I think that it'd work well for my feet.

I have a pair coming soon, whenever they are finished. They did change the leather though, I was informed Viberg ran out of the tobacco chamois and they decided they would make the new Hopper run in aged bark. They did offer me a refund since they weren't the exact boots I ordered, but I think the aged bark will look nice so I decided to stay in.

Oh and another makeup that looks really nice, posted on Brett Viberg's Instagram.
Brown horsehide, looks like a 2030 stitchdown service boot?: https://www.instagram.com/p/BJN3MF0jFVj/?taken-by=brett_viberg

              Thanks @rocket, unfortunately they only go to size 12, and I'm a 13. 😞

At some point I'll probably get a pair of the brown waxed flesh Country Derbies from Viberg instead.

@Broark the re-run of the Hoppers also have a partially structured toe. Shame Viberg ran out of the tobacco chamois, as it's a really nice leather. I'm looking forward to seeing how they turn out.

And it'll give me an excuse to get another pair of engineers down the road in a darker brown leather.  😉
I'm pretty sure Dave from Himel Bros. said there would be another run of the brown horsehide engineers he did with Viberg on his Instagram. Hopefully that comes to fruition.

There will always be another pair of dark brown Engineers. 😉

I like the Hoppers, but the last doesn't quite work for me. With thin socks on, I find they slip around a lot. With thick socks, they're just slightly cramped around my big toe. The stock advice seems to be to go up half a size on them.

I ordered a 12 based off the fact that I have a pair of 11.5 Boondockers on the 2045 last that fit very well.
Hopefully they fit, the 1035 beige calf derbies I have in 12 are a little long and narrow for my foot, so hopefully that won't be the same case with the 2005 engineer last. I put some insoles in the derbies and they fit a little better now luckily.

I've got a pair of Scouts on the 2030 last, and the Hoppers on the 2050, both in a size 13. The Hoppers don't quite work for me, but I do wear them a bit.

You might get away with an 11.5, but a 12 will probably be better. I'd have to jump from 13 to 14, and I don't know if that would work.

'Sad they were not a match for u.
Initially, I had similar experience w/wearing thin vs thick socks.  I tried slipping in some sort of "training" leather insoles [Tacco], to wear w/ thin socks … just till the leather break in & [stabilizes]. Been working for me so far__ heel slippage down to a minimum.

'Plan on wearing them more often once the NYC heat subsides.

I'll see how I get on with the Hoppers. They do get some wear, and if I give up on them, my younger brother @GuzziRob (who has shorter, wider feet) might inherit them.

                          The bugger! 😉

Need to help with sizing on the engineer boot. I wear a 12 in John Lofgren's Engineer. Does anyone know if the 12 in the Viberg Engineer will be a similar fit?

I must defer to others who have John Lofgren boots, but you "may" want to size down 1 to 1/2 size in Viberg.  I wear a 12 in Viberg and 12.5 or 13 in other American-made boots (Red Wing, White's, Mr Freedom and Wesco).

I tried @trail and arrow's pair of Viberg Hikers on, and they are a wide fit.

I'd suggest giving Viberg a shout and seeing what they advise.
