Thanks for the kind words Mike!
Nate, that OS Chevy looks great! When it comes to trucks, no body makes them like they used to! Beat them down, shine them up, repeat!

Here's a very tasty Landie, via Silodrome. The article's a glorified advert for Cool 'n' Vintage, who did the hooning Escort video a while back.
If you ignore the model for a second, there's a neat looking Boxer in the corner of the photo. No idea about it though.

Ok, here is an honest question since I know a lot of you guys are Land Rover fans…
Found an 08 Range Rover sport HSE for a ridiculous good deal and its in great shape. Thinking of trading out the wife's Nissan SUV for it (heck, it would be way cheaper too!) the RR has like 60K miles on it.
What kind of costs should I expect coming up? Like 5K (I literally found numbers like this online from reviews haha) a year in repair or more like a couple hundred? I know things like the air suspension goes out and the electronics weren't the most reliable, but it's a great looking car at an almost "too good to be true" price. Have always been a fan of the body pre-2013, so interested to hear your thoughts...

I had 2007 RRS SC and had very little issues with it. Bought it new and had it for about 65k miles. Basically only some electrical issues such as bonnet open/close indicator is faulty and it cost me less than 100€ to fix.
With Range Rovers you should always prepare to put down extra for service though.

I have no personal experience with Range Rovers, so discount this as you see fit. My brother owned a Discovery, the purchase of which he called "the biggest mistake I've ever made." Mind you, this is a man who is divorced, failed out of college, and has a tattoo of Tigger. Yes, the cartoon tiger from Winnie The Pooh adorns his left deltoid for the rest of his life, and the purchase of a vehicle was a bigger mistake.
You probably, however, are more interested in the experiences of an actual secondhand Range Rover buyer, so this series of articles might be helpful.

wow. that raptor is amazing. being in australia we can only drool when a ute like that costs upwards of 150k to get it complied and swapped from lhd to rhd..

And that is cheap compared us here in Finland with 50% car tax.
