IHSH-08 16oz Super Black Western Shirt
-
by the way, I noticed that IH shirts size are bigger than other brands, aren't they?
I've never purchased IH shirt before…
Compare to other Japanese brands, then perhaps yes. Thank God IH are sized bigger, I can never get really comfortable in other Japanese (e.g. the Flat Head) brands.
-
Also less tapered tops
-
Ive got a skinny ass mid section/waist, i do wish IH tops were at least a little more tapered than they are. That's just me though
-
I have a pretty thin waist compared to my shoulders as well, but I like the way they taper down. It leaves room for me to move around/climb/crawl and the shirt will fall back into place
I hate it when shirts ride up and I have to yank my clothes back into place
I have a couple shirts that are more tapered, and they're reserved solely for going out when I know I'm not going to be doing much of anything. IH is more versatile for me, they look great and I can go out in them, but I also know I can work in them

It is with great regret that I have to announce the imminent demise of this shirt in its various forms. There is no 16oz Super Black material left, so no more runs are to be made.
There are a few of the Super Stealth version left here:

RIP.

Oh dear. I was so desperate to get one. Maybe I'll try my luck with the XL? I'll do some measurements quick.
-
So, got me the XL. Crossing fingers that it fits. But I checked with my Carharrt HArbor Shirt - it should be ok.

Super Black Fade to Grey!? Whattttttttttttt???
-
There is member who's sig was "real black stays black" or something to that effect… I think thats why I love my 9634s, 25(blk), 01(blk), 06(blk) and finally the 08ss. Its endurance to stay dark.
RIP to the 16oz Super Black indeed.
Long Live the new 21oz Super Black(to Gray)!looking foward to a new IH year.

Spoke to Haraki about the new denim for this shirt. It is proving to be really difficult to make. The mill is superbusy at the moment and does not need Haraki asking them to push the edge of the envelope. So he is going to resume the experiments at the mill in the summer, traditionally the looms are quieter in the summer months
He can't give a date for completion of the shirts, but he says definitely, this year…..

Just so you all know, if your IHSH-08 has black snaps, your posts belong here…
