Two cuts driven by a retailer.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but is Self Edge not the primary retailer of IH goods? This leads me to guess that the cuts would be 301s and 633s, SE's flagship IH cuts. If that's the case, then I'm beyond excited because the 633s is probably the best cut for me across at least ten raw denim manufacturers.
However, in my unwavering excitement for future collabs and new denim, I emailed Kiya specifically asking about the 25oz. double indigo denim and if SE would carry it. The response was that it was too rigid and heavy to be worn. So I don't know what to expect.
Also I'm very new to this community so please let me know if this kind of public speculation is appropriate.

If you mean largest, yes, you're wrong

Kiya's wrong (but I am sure he prefaced his statement with "in my view"), once broken in it is one of the most comfortable denims we make. After the 21oz the 25oz is easily the second best seller…

SE is a big retailer but also DC4, B&S, R&H, and Pronto. I'm sure there are different tastes across the globe. But if it happens in the 633. This dude is gonna flip out.
And VMC. VMC have been retailing in this space for at least 15 years longer than any other retailer we supply. We originally developed the 25oz denim to celebrate their 25th anniversary…..
When I pitched the idea to Haraki, he thought I was completely mad. Now he wears 25oz and it is a big seller in Japan too.....

Word! So the 40 pairs of each cut, are they only going to be accessible from the said retailer? Or are they getting their own shipment and you're claiming 40 of each cut for IHUK? Just wondering if we're all gonna have a chance at them or if they're gonna be super limited.

I'm sure this must have been asked already, but will the 25oz ii have tonal stitching (or is that something for the shop to announce when ready)?
Also, on a sort of related note, when jeans are overdyed do they get released as the same size they went in the vat as? Eg does a 32" 777 become a 32" 777 od?

Tonal stitching in the 25oz double indigo denim in the 666 cut would be a NIGHTMARE… for my wallet :o

I know I am only speculating (it's late here in Alabama and I'm been drinking wine haha), but since I believe (i'm probably wrong, but I'll pretend I'm smart for a minute) the first real Indigo/Indigo release in the West from IH was the Leathersoul X SE X IH collab, I wonder if the 25oz I/I is also being released with some limited edition footwear.. perhaps it's a V&S collab and The Bootery will be releasing some badass boots to go with them. None the less, a pair of beeswax colored rough out short shaft Boss Boots with natural single stack soles and indigo welt stitching would look great with these…just saying
