…and order received. First impressions: only in IH-world does it make sense that this denim is anything close to 14 oz. If they were advertised at 16 oz I wouldn't question it for a second. The denim is dark, but not as dark as the 25 oz denim. It's a deep, dark, and rich blue, and definitely has more character than the other IH denim I'm familiar with (21 oz, Self Edge's 23 oz collab, and 25 oz). I imagine it must be pretty similar in character to the 18 oz denim, but I'm only guessing since I've never seen the 18 oz in real life. This denim definitely has some "give" to it, it feels similar in "stretchiness" to the 21 oz denim, although it's probably not quite as breathable. Feels close, though. And my gut says the potential for killer fades is high for some reason.

Overall, I'd say this is yet another fantastic, beautiful denim that measures up to any other IH denim I've experienced. It's funny, so far my experience with IH denim is that I can't seem to decide which is my favorite -- other than whichever one I'm wearing when you ask me. I can already tell that nothing will change with this denim, I'm already thinking this is my new "favorite" after spending 10 minutes wearing it. And I finally have a pair of IH I can wear comfortably in the hot, humid weather of a St. Louis summer!

I was starting to think I was going to be the only one on the forum wearing these. I feel like people are snoozing on this denim. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the heavy stuff, but I can't wear it in the summer. This denim is equal in sheer awesomeness to any other IH denim I own, and it's a much more reasonable proposition in warm weather.

My pair arrived today. It's a bit strange to wear a pair of IH jeans that is so lightweight, but with temperatures over 30° C that is not exactly a negative point.

Might need to get them hemmed an inch or so, but other then that I like them pretty much.

Overdue fit pics:

I've already had to wash these once due to sitting in a bit of some unknown waxy substance at a party. There's still a couple small spots of it on my back pocket but it's pretty unnoticeable. I'm sure it will disappear with wear, but it's a bit aggravating nonetheless.

Yeah, gotta love the 666 cut. My 666-XHS fit just as well. Definitely the best cut for me.
