The fit is very comfy - that's all, what I can say for now. 
Currently, I own ca. 35 boots (I don't know it exactly  ) from different brands (including some Wesco's and Vibergs) .. and I've never thought about the lasts … the look is primary and it fits - or not.

Love the colour but call me a bstd , I find that style of sole hard to
warm up too. However if it works then on you go lad .

^I used to feel the same way, but I have come around.  I can appreciate the attraction to a sole like this if you work long days on your feet.

I also think this particular sole looks much nicer than the marshmallow Christy.

Yep - usually, I tend also to other sole types .. but this was a 'missing link' in my collection.
And after 3 days of constant wear - I'm deeply contented - so comfy!

I'm with you - not a huge fan, but I have 1 pair with this sole and it's kind of cool.  Nice to be able to afford having a "niche" boot :). Life is good.

Nothing fancy really, 'cept for the 1035 Black Pit Tanned Bison Service Boots, w/c were freakin' fabulous , IMO.

Set versus the black leather sofa__ visible complex hues brought out by the afternoon light from the living room window just convinced me they're my new bbf  
'Was fortunate to have handled Bison leather before, but not @same level of leather quality, tannage-wise.

Had a short chat w/GuyFerguson & he said the tanning process is the same as on their famed + sought after shell cordovan. No quarter lining needed__ leather was as thick, if not thicker than the #HorweenCXL they use.

Could fit in size8 [medium weight socks] throughout Vibergdom, 'cept for 2030 w/c just does not fit at all … but on [this] recent haul, I upsized 1/2 cuz I found 8.5 on 1035 fit & felt much much better.

Daaaaaaaaamn!  What an epic haul! Hard to pick a favorite - the derby shoes and chukkas kind of stand out for me, as I have service boots.  Were there a lot of people trying to buy the goods?  Assuming so.

Picked up a pair of beige calf derbies from Notre shop, not my usual shoe style but I thought these would look nice worn in and beat up a bit. These are on the 1035 last, and I went half a size up from my 2045 last size and took a 12. They are a little long, but I feel like the width is perfect. Would've been too narrow in an 11.5 I think. I just wore them out running errands and they feel like they will be nice with an insole possibly. I think the leather is really nice, reminds me a bit of natural chromexcel.

Nice! And it does look like natural cxl to me - Viberg uses Horween cxl - maybe that's what it is?

Thanks, I also wish they made more 145's. They are a perfect shoe. I almost spent $1100 ordering a pair from Barley Harvest Season, but in the end I just couldn't justify spending that much.
