        @Traser2g:

I'd love to try some Shorts, what's the closest distro to MA?

We're available in Philly and the surrounding region of PA currently.  I think that's our closest market to MA

Been a little while since I last checked in, but I have still been drinking beers!
Here's a photo dump, most impressive are the first and last beers.
Prairie Birthday Bomb was just fantastic, managed to get four of these in total and drank one. Going to send one to @Traser2g in a trade once I get a few more beers together over the next week or so.
Anywho, great beer. Not too sweet like I've heard some people mention, although I didn't really notice the chili.

Next up I managed to grab a case of the New Belgium Fat Tire with Friends series. There were 12 beers (two of each style from each collaboration and two being the normal Fat Tire) and sadly I was a little underwhelmed. They all kind of tasted similar, with the Firestone Walker and Avery collaborations standing out to me. Just nothing great, but nice concept. Also it was pretty cheap, only 12 bucks or so for the whole box. So a pretty good deal.

And tonight I'm drinking this Bruery Rueze. Pretty damn good. Going to be buying another bottle if I come across one!

That Prairie!  Need in my life.  Your Fat Tire pack reminds me of Sierra Nevada Beer Camp only its 3x the price. So far the ones I have tried are pretty underwhelming to not good.

Starting to get a lot of TO Ol here in MA.  Some importer on other side of the state. I've been trying a lot of Mikkeller but need to branch out I think.

Mikkeller makes a lot of subpar shite… They just make too many beers... Get me a list of To Ol beers available, and I'll let you know which'uns are good... Probably most of 'm... My personal favourite brewery, they are...

I'll have to try out that beer, I've seen it in stores around here a few times.
I agree, Mikkeller can be very hit or miss. Some are great though, I Hardcore You being one of my favorites.
But it's a collaboration beer, so not exclusively Mikkeller.

It's also a one time release, from 2014 I think… But yeah: it was phenomenal...

Last night: Bruery Tart of Darkness.
Honestly this is one of the first beers I ever drank that got me into beer in the first place.
Reminds me a lot of Funk Metal from Jester King, minus the funkiness. Just awesome.

Tonight: Alesmith Wee Heavy scotch ale.
We just started getting Alesmith beer here in the last week or so, and I decided to try this one out for my first go. Not disappointed at all, sometimes I find scotch ales to be too sweet. This had a nice balance. Nice kick at 10% ABV as well. Will try out some more Alesmith stuff whenever I see more. I picked this one up over their Grand Cru, Horny Devil and Numbskull. I'll likely try all those too at some point.

Out of all the scotch styles/wee heavy stuff, no matter what I always find myself looking forward to an Old Chub. Hear there are barrel aged variations too.

@Broark  if you can find Alesmith Speedway Stout, it's a good one. More so if you can find the Vietnamese of Hawaiian Coffee variations when they come out.

We should be getting a lot more Oskar Blues stuff as they're opening a brewery here pretty soon.
@Traser2g I've heard good things about the Speedway Stout, so far we just have the ones I mentioned above and 6 packs of their IPA. More should be coming though, just glad to see more breweries represented in the state.
