OK - after leaving Islay we headed for the Isle of Bute where we stayed in Rothesay.
Again, the weather was great!
The main attraction on Bute is undoubtably Mount Stuart, so we headed over there in the morning to catch the first tour of the house.

The gardens ended up being the most impressive!
For the rest of the day we explored the ruins of an earlier church at the tip of the island.

After returning to Moscow we had a short working week before heading out Helsinki for another long weekend trip.
In Helsinki we arrived just in time for an Italian dinner…
Friday was spend wandering around, shopping and taking the occasional flower picture…
Dinner was Asian-Fusion with drinks upfront!
We went for the menu…
The restaurant was maybe a bit showy, but the food was interesting and solid in quality.
On Saturday we had a bit more time for flowers & architecture…
Which brings us the day's dinner at Chef & Sommelier - an exceptional and tiny, little restaurant hidden away in Helsinki…
The wine pairing wasn't bad, either…
