The duck pocket bags on my Roy SF01s (my original pair) stink. So bad that I smell them when wearing them. I think it has to do with the time it takes the pockets to air dry (I always hang dry inside out).

I have tried scrubbing the pockets, soaking them and they still stink. The jeans are fine it's only the front pockets. Should I try soaking in vinegar? Anyone have any other suggestions?

Yes, I've washed them several times. I really think the hang dry is the problem but I don't want to put them in the dryer.

                        Hey Iron Hearts,

I'm glad to be on this forum. I recently purchased my first pair of IH 666N in size W32 L36. While I trailed the fit, I also tried the 777S-14oZ. I found that a bit bulgy on the front hip, but the rest was good. So the sales assistant gave me the 666N and asked me to try that out. It was perfect, except for the fact that I find it a little bit bulky beyond the knee area.

I'm contemplating now to exchange the 666N for the 777S, but I need to know about a couple of things:

                        1. If I keep my 666N, would it shrink or expand after washing?
                        2. I'm a skinny guy weighing over 65kg and 180cm tall. I do not prefer to wear bulky denims. Is there a default weight and height to denim fit kind of a chart from Iron Heart?
                        3. How would altering the denim beyond the knee area to make it tapered look like? Would the denim be ruined if I let it done?

Try a biological wash poweder or in the UK we have anti bacterial fabric conditioner, made by 'dettol' which should do it. Its bacteria that cause the smell.

                              1. This denim will shrink a little on the first wash, and stretch out afrerwards.
                              2. Look here: http://www.ironheart.co.uk/cuts/
                              3. Lots of people do this.

                              1. This will not shrink and will stretch some.

What would be the difference between the 555's compared to the 777's? I do not want extreme slim fit! I would appreciate your reply! I'm already convinced to exchange the 666N!

555's have a higher rise and more fitted top-block than 777's. They still taper but not as aggressively. Imho, IH don't do "extreme" slim fits.

From the shop where I would buy them, they say that the 555N would shrink after wash. Is this true?
