I'm going to get the hydrone Gabier later this year. My mind is made up.

@Anesthetist - i dig the hydrone mayerial. If I didn't have the blue shipyard chinos, I'd be getting the hydrone Bosco pants. Maybe if I put enough wear and tear on the shipyards, i can justify the purchase sooner, rather than later haha

can't wait to see some pics @Broark ! It's crazy how every version of the MFSC "midnight" fabric looks, fades and drapes differently. Plus, I'd love some comparison shots of the midnight MFSC next to your Indigo/Indigo IH workshirt. would be interesting to see how the two compare.

It's gonna be a winner!

Also ordered the Midnight Appaloosa. I own the Midnight CPO as well so it will be interesting to see the difference between the two fabrics (if any).

Awesome Broark! Glad to hear you are loving it!
Indigo Gunslingers for me yesterday.

Wearing my Midnight Appaloosa for the first time today. Have not soaked yet so it's still got a good amount of starch. In general I'm very happy with the fit. Sleeve length and everything is right where I want it. All around its slightly more generous in every dimension than the sportsman shirt from the same collection. I'll try and get my post soak thoughts up once I've had a chance to soak the shirt.
For now a crappy mirror pic.

Looks good! I would agree, feels a little bigger than my lot A Appaloosa especially thought the midsection (which is welcomed for me personally!)
Bold move wearing it without a soak, when I slipped mine on before throwing it in the washing machine I felt like I was wearing some armor. The shoulders stood up on their own and poked out, that settled a lot with a wash. -
For a shirt this one is definitely stiff. At the moment there is really no drape it's just kind of hovering on me. The evolution on this shirt is going to be crazy with some solid wear so I'm eager to really get a lot of wears in.

Great fit blood&thunder. The description on the SE site makes it seem like this one is gonna shrink a ton - which in my experience may or may not happen with the MFSC midnight twill. Gunslingers shrunk a ton, while riders didn't really. Any of you guys that snagged the new western experience any crazy shrink? Might have to put this one on the "future to buy" list since I really dig the buttons.
Anyways, wheat cowboy and midnight riders for me today after getting off work:

Thanks, Appfaff. I'll be sure to get some pre-soak and post-soak measurements of the shirt. I plan to soak either tomorrow or this weekend.

Tried my hand at photographing the Midnight Appaloosa in comparison with my lot A Appaloosa and IHSH-136.
First off it's not an easy shirt to photograph since the external stitching is all tonal, and the digital camera I'm using is pretty damn old…
My only very minor complaint about this shirt is that compared to the lot A version that I have this doesn't have the exposed selvedge along the front placket. I really like that detail as it was something no one saw, but I knew was there. Not a big deal, just a small thing I noticed. I guess it would make sense on this tonal version not to have it exposed, as it would really pop and be very bold.
But here's what I came up with, it's much darker than my IHSH-136 and lot A Appaloosa at this point because I've washed both pretty regularly. I used some post processing just to get more definition out of the photos.
I need a new camera.
Next to the lot A:
And here's some measurements, I think I'm going to give it another trip thought the wash right now because I noticed some weird spots along the front.
Shoulders: 20 in.
Chest: 24 in.
Length: 31 in.
Sleeves:26 in. -
Digging the Midnight Appaloosa, thanks Kiya and Self Edge. It is gonna be a great piece with some wear.
It is very stiff, and a bit bigger than the Lot A. I'm guessing with an appropriate soak sizing will be as expected.
