@Giles  Ha! Just read the whole thread and came to the conclusion I'd better go for size L.
I have the same chest size as you. I have a very snug leather riding jacket and after I saw a picture of you with size L and XL I thought I could do L. You think so too? I read you could layer with L and wear M with a t-shirt.

They are made slightly oversized to be able to wear over a leather jacket….So I think L should be good....
