The Guardian have published an article on Lidl's £5.99 jeans.

There's a breakdown in the cost of production if you click through, and the piece ends with:

_Because when your business model is based on offering the lowest possible prices, someone has to subsidise that, and that someone is the worker stitching those jeans. Lidl does not buy its jeans from Bangladesh because Dhaka’s factories are the finest in the world: it does so because they pay their workers a pittance. And that, ultimately, is how it is possible to sell a pair of jeans for £5.99.

It’s not magic. It’s just exploitation._

One of the things I like about IH gear is that it's not made in sweatshops, and there's no exploitation involved. Well, except to my wallet, and the current intern. 😉

23 pence per hour is one hell of a catch.
Company's like this use the excuse that they are helping there customers with bargain prices.
In my humble view the True cost of these so called Value Products is massively high.

I couldn't say it any better. The attitude of cheaper and more still rules the Midwest. Something has to give.

So I grilled chicken for dinner and we are half way through eating when my 6 year old asks me "Daddy, what kind of animal is this?". I explain to her about chickens, how they are raised, processed, etc. She then tells me she's a vegetarian and will never eat another animal!

Tell her you'll eat her share from now on and that you thank her for the extra, so the same chickens go or something, that could get her back into it? If the chicken's dying anyhow, may as well enjoy the meat. PS I'm vege, in my 11th year. Still worth having fun with.

@TrickHell - you following a program or just doing your thing?  Looks/Sounds like beginning stages of Wendler. I like Wendler for setting benchmarks but also like Starting Strength, and hatch squat cycles. I take my people through a modified hatch cycle i built about once a year and people see good results without losing too much of their wind.

Best Advice I can give you is invest in a good belt (inzer or rogue ohio belt, not the econ one), some good knee sleeves/wraps (rehand for sleeves, hook grip russian knee wraps for wraps), and a pair of squat shoes (Nike Romaleo is the only real way to go in my book, unless you have slim feet, than the adidas are ok).

PM me if you ever want any help or someone to offer help through video analysis - this is what I do for a living.

Good luck and have some fun!

So, we loved doing the IHJ-42 vid today.  I asked the crew if they could put some out takes together.

I pointed them here to give them creative direction…....
