Is that pocket knife fade on the front right of your pocket? Looking all around good, can also tell you wash it often which is a huge plus.

Yup, it was a Hinderer that I had for a few years. I have since sold it. I actually got this pair when it first came out and they only have 1 initial soak and 1 wash.

Almost time for me to buy my second pair of IH jeans and my first shirt. I need some of those waffle henleys in my life.

@Giles Just to confirm, these won't stretch back to pre-soak size like the 634-UHR, right?

@Giles I don't have a bathtub or anything big enough to soak 634-SR without folding it. Will a bucket do?

@Giles That was a fast reply. Thanks! I am gonna soak it overnight in a bucket of cold water. And then beat the hell out of it!

Keep in mind that a cold soak in a bucket will not give you the full amount of shrinkage

                      A few possibly dumb questions.

                      1. Since it will eventually stretch back to tag size, is it a problem if I don't get maximum shrinkage?
                      2. My 634sr is stiff and dry now. Should I soak it in hot water again?

G, need your opinion. my SRs only had 1 initial hot soak when they came out years ago. Since then i wore them for years but lost a whole lot of weight. they just hang in my closet wishing to get worn. Do you think if i did another hot soak and then a real hot tumble dry i could force some more shrinkage out of them? they are size 38 and right now i fluctuate between a 34 and 36 depending on craft beer season. is it worth a shot trying to make them smaller or not bother and just dont wear em?

                              Thanks buddy!

It's worth a go with the soak, but I think that a hot tumble dry even inside out is dangerous with that fabric….

HOT wash 60° C or more…. no dryer, and "straighten" the fabric while wet...

Figured it was time to get my SR pics on here. They are still crunchy and “full” - need to break the hell out of them to get them to fit better.  Relaxed in the body and snug in the waist as well lol
