I'm XXXL in IH and XXL in MF - but MF sizing is less consistent than IH.  Some of my MF shirts are more "generously cut" than others, and the amount of shrinkage varies.  I agree sizing MF gear requires more careful study.  For example I got a map shirt that looked like a bath robe pre-soak and the amount of shrinkage from a cold soak was quite remarkable.  But my Sportsman shirts have not shrunk much at all from cold soak/hang dry. I shoot for 24-25" chest and ~20" shoulders and hope for the best on other measures which usually work out OK if I get the shoulders/chest right.

I've been opting for XXL in most IH shirts (mainly with the heavier flannels, always nice to have some extra room).
It's just weird because I can pull of a large in the MF and IH tees, but tees do have a tendency to stretch a little.
I went for a XXL in the Appaloosa since the cut on it is a bit more trim. I'll see what Christian says, plus I could always exchange if it was too small or too big.

          @Broark:

I'm definitely thinking about picking up the wabash, since I don't own any wabash fabric.
I don't have much experience with MF shirting outside my Appaloosa, so I'm assuming I'd be safe with the XXL and then shrinking it.

I just saw the final wabash shirts last week and they came out looking really good.  We ordered the wabash and the new super dark appaloosa for the stores, can't wait to get them in.
Also, if you make it into SEMX, we'll be getting the entire Mister Freedom beach collection of shorts, swim trunks, t-shirts, etc..

Those are the two shirts I've been looking forward to the most from Mister Freedom this spring/summer.
I'd love to make it down to SEMX this summer, we'll see what's in the cards.

@Broark - where in Austin is MF gonna be stocked?  @FormulaPfaff might need to take more frequent trips to Austin!

@Appfaff Revival Cycles just opened a shop in the last couple months in the new South Congress Hotel and they're carrying some MF stuff. I went and checked it out and the selection was fairly limited, but they were excited to be carrying the line. Hopefully they have some S/S16 stuff coming in.

@Appfaff Wabash mister freedom shirt? I'm gonna have to seriously consider that.

                    Make it heavier.

Christian got back to me and said based off my Appaloosa sizing I should go with a XXL in the wabash as well.
I'll likely place my order soon!

Nice news to hear @Broark  - I checked out the sizing for it as well and it does appear to run much smaller than the Sportsman shirts - maybe workman shirts are my answer!

Can't go wrong with some wabby!  The understated stitching is what sells me on the MF version. Lo profile cool as Christophe does so well!  Let us know how it shrinks, my brother and I may go for matching ones on this as we both also have the SH-62 haha

Yeah I really like the tonal stitching as well.
I've always told myself that my first wabash would be a Flat Head but I've come to grips with the fact that they don't make one big enough to fit me. I'm sure I can't go wrong with the Mister Freedom version either though!

Mighty tempting this new Wabbash shirt! Might be right up my alley now that I've sold my TFH wabby (too tight) Anybody knows the weight of the fabric? I don't think it is mentioned on the MF product page…

                                  WTB: IHSH-154 Grey M, IHSH-91 M

I'm also curious about the fabric weight as it isn't listed on the site at all.
I just placed my order, will be sure to post my impressions once it arrives!

Can't wait to hear how the XXL works for you - looks like I am in between sizes based on how much these actually shrink… - I too always wanted a flat head wabby, ever since seeing @tvshooter in his back in 2009. Somehow the stars have never aligned for me, and the MF seems to be more my style now anyways. As much as I love the IH wabby, some variance is never a bad thing, and since I have the BLK IH wabby, having some MF indigo version would be nice.

EDIT: I found the old photo i was picturing!

Something about all the details on the FH wabash really clicked for me, although I never really liked the flaps on the pockets. Also hoping this one isn't really heavy, would like to be able to wear it in the summer here.

I've been more interested in engineer boots lately, and I really like what I've seen with the Road Champs.
Seems like they have the profile that I like and some really nice details.
Plus the brown leather looks really nice when broken in.
Assuming there's a waitlist for these I might throw my name onto it…
