White's Boots

Here are my three pair of White's:
Semi Dress in black Horween Chrome Excel with a single leather outsole, Cuban heels.

Then two pair of Bounty Hunters, both with Cuban heels.
6" medallion toe cap in brown Dress leather with white liners and half soles. All eyes with no hooks.. I am not a fan of hooks.

And my newest.. 7" Bounty Hunters, but lace to toe and also full eyes. It makes it take a lot longer to put them on and take them off, but I find it easier to tension and more comfortable. Plus they just look better IMHO. These ones are also black Crome Excel, with black leather lining.

They all look really clean still as I take super good care of them. Brushed after every wear, then treed to rest.

New cougars are in….the "dark brown" french calf turned out a lot lighter than I envisioned....

Whites cougar.

Brown french calf vamp and counter
tan leather lining (i highly recommend this as it is free and absolutely beautifully done)
Pull loops yes
single celastic toe
Brass eyelets and hooks
Roll top
Bellows tongue
Single midsole with halfslip-natural
Vibram 2021 sand
No toe cap
Close sole trim

Just a note for those that have trouble getting their whites on and off: You can actually order a different style of tongue called a "bellows" which for me eliminated all problems. You can see an example of in the far left pair of the topdown pic above.

They look great! How do These run sompared to other boots you have? I'm still contemplating getting those or another pair of Oxfords.

They are a nice pair, the sole works nicely on the c461, nice choices. @Max Power if your Oxfords are D width you'll want to size down a half size. The Oxford last is narrower than any others.

@Max Power I'd go same size but stick with a D personally, the last is more generous than the Oxfords and as they are stitch down they will always give in width quickly if snug to begin with.

They are really impressive. The 641 last has the bridge width of the whites i have in the swing last but with a more sculptured toe. So basically they are just as comfortable as a swing last without the mickey mouse look.

My experience with whites boots is that they run wide. I am an E width in wescos but with whites usually purchase a D.

One thing ill say is the british tan is gorgeous and has a really high depth of color that i imagine will patina beautifully.

Ha! I agree, they are ugly in a good way - wrinkled up, big old toe, tractor tread sole…. and that's the okinawa/sugar denim, love those snow flakes!
