I just picked up their heavyweight hoody from SESF and it is magnificent!

For the price and quality. For the quality and price. I have zero complaints of this garment as a whole and I would happily shake Johan and Andrews respective hands.

It's interesting because I didn't notice much shrinkage in the chest or sleeves, but the length of the T seemed to come up a solid inch on me.  I'm just a bit over 6 feet and weigh roughly 150-155 pounds, I bought size small in the T's.  After washing the T felt much more boxy, retained it's width but was now hitting an inch or so higher in the mid-section.  Personally I wouldn't worry as much about the shirt being too tight after washing as I would it coming up shorter than preferred.

Absolutely correct. I lost a good inch in length but other measurements haven't changed much. Now they are short and boxy which is fine and looks good with my denim jackets.

I have 8 of these T's, they all vary particularly the blue ones, not just in colour but in measurements.

I have two blue ones that have done the short and boxy thing, as you described and the rest haven't at all. I noticed minimal shrink other than that.

The grey ones, I've washed on 40 degree and tumble dried and not noticed any shrink at all.

They are pretty much my favourite T, definitely from a bang for your buck viewpoint. TFH are slightly better quality imo but considerably more expensive.

        You can't go wrong really.

I own currently four of their heavyweight T's in black and navy (and more on the wishlist) .. a lot of washings - no shrinkage or any damage till now. Good quality for a fair price!
I see no sense behind, to pay 100.- bucks or more for 1 plain T-shirt.

I also own four of these, grey and white, and they all shrunk quite a bit. Which was very welcome! The feel is very different though, as the grey ones are way softer than the whites which are more rigid. Awesome tees!

Still haven't got any of these tees but really want some. If i'm an L in IH shirts, should I go M or L in the heavyweight tee? Some say they shrink, some not…I'm confused.....:)

They shrink. I went XL same as UHF and prefer the fit after they shrunk a bit.

They don't shrink much unless you throw them in the dryer. Great shirts (especially for the price).

Yep, I'd agree with what everyone else has been saying.  I own five of their T's and they are great T-shirts.  I've washed all of mine, many times, on a cold/cold machine wash and hang dry and they have never shrunk.  They will shrink if you throw them in the dryer though like @GoBruins said.

Not sure I can do a 29 inch length (Rivet and Hide measurement for the Large). I could fit an M I think but any shrinkage and my son will be wearing it. I'm wanting some white tees and imagine i'll be washing them at 40 more often than not.

Just realised mine are large. Still better after a bit of shrink.

Thanks man. Don't suppose you could shoot me the length of a shrunk one could you? Base of collar to hem (centre back) would be great. 😉 Cheers.

Gutted about these - recently I've grown too big for the XXL - they're a tad too short. Still own 10-12 of them!

Does anyone have any experience of their type 3 please?  I'm considering the shadow denim that's being run at the moment, but the sleeves look VERY short (23.5" in a large, 24" in XL) on the last run.  I have a 526od in xl that works great over a uhf or hoodie, but doesn't look great over just a t-shirt.  I think this would, if i can get the sizing right.  Thanks

I have a black type 3.  in short, I think you would be taking a small chance ordering the large over the XL and having it be a bit tight in the chest…..  Unless you are more thinking about just wearing with thinner layers underneath, then it will probably be ok.  The arms on mine are no shorter than what the arms on my IHxVS T1 are.  I did size up to medium in the 316, but have plenty of room in the chest and the sleeves hit right at the same spot as my IHxVS which is a small.

I think there may be a difference in the shape of the shoulder seam which causes the shorter arm measurement because looking at Blue Owl's 316 size chart and comparing to IH's IHxVS size chart the arm length is about 2" different which is not the case with the two jackets I own.  Unless they drastically changed the cut/length on the most recent run of type 3's I think the arms will be fine and you should just focus on the chest.
