Better reheel it Sir before it touches the leather. You might go for a Vibram or goodyear heel as they seem wearing down slower than catspaw in my experience, depends also if catspaw is nos or repro and also how u treat them guys outside of course.

I have let my cobbler glued some more gum over my whites heels, holds nicely too for a while

I've had these boots for… a bit over a year. I've worn them NOT that often, these are the nicest boots I have right now but I'm slowly building a collection so I can rotate easily.

And within this year, with very minimal wear-time, my heels look pretty much like yours so... I feel your pain.

Interestingly, my right heel also seems to wear down faster too... I am right-legged, I wonder if this has anything to do with it?

Finally received them back - I couldn't be happier. Perfect work, the boots have been oiled and they look like new - for a killer price. I'll definitely send my other pairs there too.

I had my local cobbler add new soles which have been glued directly to the existing super smooth and super slippery vibram soles. I also had him remove the heavily worn heels and replace them with extra hard wearing Goodyear heels.
In total he charged me £25 which I thought was a fair price . . . . .
