Why haven't they came out with another flannel lined jeans? They would be PERFECT for fall/winter riding for me! 14oz flannel would be gorgeous.

Because they are a complete bastard to make, they are super expensive and did not sell particularly well…..

But they are amazing, Giles! Seriously! I love mine! But, can you explain why it sounds much more complicate to make as for ex. a jacket type III lined?

The way jeans are constructed just makes the addition of another layer a lot more complicated. Admittedly these were 21oz so sewing felled seams and chain stitched hems would be less tricky on a lighter weight.  But I'm certainly not going to be first in the queue to suggest making something really difficult, with unknown popularity when I am having to wait 7 months to get something that I know will sell into production….

I do feel like the brand is in a different place than when these were first released.  I think a 17oz. natural denim UHF lined timed to release late fall would sell really well.  The 17oz. is a bit cheaper to start with, and way less burly.  It seems like this is requested every other month, which suggests demand.  Just saying…
