IH-666D - 17oz Duck Slim Straight Cut Jeans - Brown

Got my pair of 666Ds in the post this week so thought I'd post up a few fit pics. I'd had my eyes on a pair of these for a while, just as an alternative to indigo or super black, which I've been wearing pretty much exclusively up to now. The new photos on the shop give a better indication of the colour, but they're still a deeper brown than I had been expecting, but I love the colour.

I was struggling over whether to go for the 29s or 30s given the size warning, and that I'm a 29 waist. But Giles sorted me out, recommending the 29s. The measurements are very similar to the IHxRH-666s that I've been wearing pretty solidly the past year, although a slightly higher rise, which allows me to get away with the slightly tighter waist, even with a belt.

Cheers gents. Gonna have to wait till next month before I can wear the 666 ducks due to 634 double duck world tour commitments.
I bought the 666 ducks from this 'ere very form and they had been previously overdyed so my overdying was simply to deepen the colour. Very happy with the results  :).

I switched into them out of my XHS, so first thought was how light they felt. The duck is a really nice fabric. Quite crisp. I really like the fit on this pair too

Slim cut 5 pocket jeans (666D) vs. fuller cut work pants.  Check the measurements, the 666D is slimmer from thigh to knee to hem, probably top block too.  I have the 666D not the work pants - others may have both and can give a more valid first-hand comparison.

I will say without hesitation, if you are looking for an alternative to denim you can't go wrong with the 666D.

816 are work pants with slash side pockets and welted back pockets
