IH-714 - Ultra Heavy Selvedge Serge Cargo Pants

Well if these aren't the most ridiculous pair of trousers ever then I don't know.
They are absolutely beautiful to look at, touch, and wear. I thought the construction of the XHS denim was a special thing but this is next level (again). The external pocket bags and flaps are just things of practical beauty and engineered simplicity. How many more times am I going to discover an IH product that breaks the mould?The only thing I'd change is the lack of selvedge seam on the leg. I'm sure there's a good reason why its not there, and I'm not the kind of guy that has to show selvedge on denim, or indeed has to have selvedge denim. It's just that the selvedge strip showing on the zip (I have the olive greens) is so, damn, pretty and I'll be wearing these with a big fat roll at the bottom. That being said the red, triple stitched red seam is also pretty lovely too, so it's actually just fine.
Looks like I'll have to add the serge to my list of fabric addictions along with IH wabash, brown duck, UHF and assorted denims. Thanks for that

everytime @D97x7 posts a Cargo Pant fit, I immediately want a pair… once again, awesome dude! Looks great with the 102MC as well.

I just realised that I have unconsciously kept the tab with the product page open since I ordered mine and that I've checked the stock on the two I don't have every day for the last week.

This will be my first ever pair of cargo pants, I'll start off slow.

Yeah, I am super happy I got a pair of these, but more than one might be overkill. After all, these things are built to be the pair you'd want to wear in the apocalypse (and would certainly outlast you there).

I'm sending these in to Rain and Tyler at Indigoproof to be hemmed. Rain is going to be able to reproduce the black and red chainstitch. The only thing these weigh way more than what they typically get for the prepaid shipping label. Make sure you talk about how much something weighs when sending it in to be hemmed. When boxed up these weigh 4.5 pounds give or take. I'm pretty stoked to have Rain hem my pants.

OK OK, these are in my hands and yes one pair is not enough….I'm hard to impress but these things are incredible!
Does anybody know if these are reactive dyed or rope dyed ?

I sized smaller, to small to button easily. D9 is correct these stretch easily if needed. I set a record, stretched a tagged 31, sized 32 to a whopping 37. Way more than needed, a quick spritz with water sized them perfectly…sanforized !
