Visited Kyoto for the day. Didn't even realise that i came to Kyoto two years back and been to kiyomizudera without going further in. What a wally. Managed to cover more of kyoto this time. Kiyo and Fumishi Inari for the day.

How great is Fumishi Inari! BTW the chocolate factory is/was amazing huh? Especially the old stuff they have around. So unexpected!!!

yeah @Snowy, fumishi is really awesome. it's amazing just to think of the amount of shrine gates that they have. unfortunately i only trekked half way and not to the top. and the chocolate factory is amazing, they've way more old stuff than i've posted, all the toys and old music players (which term escapes me now) and it kinda feels like a museum and wonka's factory!!

Headed over to Kyoto again for a visit to their imperial castle. Out of nowhere when i decided to put on my white FBTs, kyoto decided to snow for that day for the first time in 90 years or something like that. Wasn't impressed at all. You'll have to make an appointment with the imperial household agency for a guided tour in groups, so the day was just pretty much of the imperial palace tour.

headed back to osaka for some good bowl of chirashi don… YUM!

Had a close mate from japan brought us around kobe while she was back in japan for a holiday the same time as i was. Hit Kobe round the kitano district with the old merchant houses and down to their port area before heading over to chinatown for dinner. Well, you could probably guess what's for dinner, you know when you're in kobe, you gotta have Kobe beef..
