Anybody want to buy a Ricoh GR? I bought it off @derivative666 but just do not use it. It is an amazing piece of kit, but deserves a better life than I am giving it. It's effectively new. PM me…

So I have decided i want to get myself a proper camera to document my son growing up and all the things we do with him. I am a complete novice all i have used is iphones. So what should i be looking for? I have 2 requirements.
Don't want to spend a fortune to begin with so maybe £100-£200
Needs not to be too big as i want to carry it with me easily. -

I think you guys have the Ricoh GR. Is it worth getting one besides a DSLR? I want a very capable cam that's light and easy to carry around…but as I do a lot of landscape shots I fear that 28mm might not be enough for me. Plus I read that it runs out of battery pretty quick and the Focus is not the fastest/best. What's your opinion? I'd like to get a used one, so the plunge is not too big.

Yes… nothing more to add here

tbh. though, i'm storing mine in the office and use it as "daily beater" on construction site to document it all. pretty perfect for that…unfortunately i'm not having the time to do photography anymore (what a shame) so yeah, for what i'm using it, it's more than fucking perfect.
super easy to handle, super light to carry around for a couple of hours and about the battery, i'd def. cop a spare if you're going to take it for a day or two...hated that fact and not having a spare battery, while i was in NYC 1.5years ago -
Thanks guys
