Yeah a cold soak would be good. Mine got it's only soak in the pouring rain. Shouldn't be too hard to get the same in Ireland [emoji6]

Mine fit a lot like yours did and after a few wears I decided I wanted to shrink it a wee bit.  I put mine in hot water for about an hour and it shrunk nicely to how I like it.

I can't see anything other than years of wear getting rid of the stiffness in this thing. I am actually struggling with it to be honest. Maybe once it is colder and I can wear a shirt or Henley under it will be better.

Hi guys! I currently have this http://www.selfedge.com/jackets-vests?product_id=536 jacket from Self Edge NY and am interested in the 526L jacket because now that I've gone heavyweight Iron Heart denim nothing else will do. I'm worried about the fit though; my current jacket fits me perfectly while it seems that this one has a lot of extra length in the arms. What do you guys think? I guess since IH has a pretty gracious return policy I might as well buy and try.

It is loosening up indeed, which seems to improve the fit. Looking forward to when it is finally all soft and drapy.

This is El Niño year for us getting some early snow on mountains … yes mine too getting better, have a good one!!!

What size would you guys suggest? I'm leaning towards the xxxl. I have the ih-9527j superblack riders jacket in xxl, it fits awesome. But I'm looking at the suggestions of size up and it has me second guessing myself.

Twin , which shirt is that ? The red on it is terrific . I have the lefty jacket too,
repeat wearing is the only way to break it . Sleep in it , eat in it , walk, work , drink and if your
missus or significant other allows - wear it in the realm of coitus !
