whats everyone else wear around here? i am particular to Tom Ford, especially his private blends collection. in the summer i usually wear his Neroli Portofino, in the Fall his Tuscan Leather, Oud Wood, and Tobacco Vanille. i also wear a lot of the Comme des Garcons colognes, especially the collaborations with Monocle, like the Hinoki.

I have always enjoyed the old Guerlains like Sous Le Vent, Derby, Habit Rouge, and Vetiver. I also wear Dior Homme for something more contemporary.

Guerlain Homme Extreme & Amouage Dia for colder weather

Comme des Garcons 53 is a synthetic I didn't take to, smelled of frying electronics to me.

I love the way Le Labo operates and makes all fragrances at the time of purchase, but haven't found one that I feel I need to wear yet.

Quite like Rose 31, but it can get a bit Indian restaurant at times.

TF Oud Wood is a current favourite, sometimes Noir de Noir.

I wish I had more places that carried high end frags around me. I usually have to go try everything I can when I go to Chicago or even Epcot in Disney (they have an exclusive Guerlain store).

You may already know, but there are a few places online which do samples now, including ebay of course.

Used to be into frags, can't wear them much as my SO became allergic to them  😞  Should visit basenotes, tons of information.  TF is nice, the older formulations of MPG are good too. Pehaligons, Helmut Lang, Frederic Malle, Andy Tauer, Creeds, Bond No. 9 (god forbids!), By Kilian are some I could reminisce.  Definitely need to rotate them through different seasons.

The Tom Ford TV Private Blend was my go-to for a long time, but the price is now a joke… every year the bottle has went up £10.  I love the Azure one as well, until I realised it reminded me of CK Crave that I wore as a kid so I bought a bottle of that for a tenner from a budget high street store and chucked it in my squash bag 😃

                        Current day to day rotation...

...and just added the brooklyn Replica by MMM, which is going to be great come Winter as a replacement for the Untitled.

^agreed.  The closest I get is Juniper Ridge trail soap.  I think at least part of the reason is I can't be in a fragrance store/section of a store for more than a few minutes before a migraine ensues.

I am VERY picky with wearing a cologne. I went through all the scents over time(at the stores that were relatively close). I ended up with falling in love with two fragrances….

                                    Gucci Guilty Black
                                    Gucci by Gucci

I am not one for most of these over priced name brand anything....but my god...did Gucci did a fine job making these two colognes....Always get complimented 🙂

Recently bought a bottle of D.S. & Durga Boston Ivy, I quite like it.
I try to go through a bottle and then discover a new fragrance I'm interested in.
I've always liked CDG Hinoki but it doesn't seem to last very long.

I have always been interested in the DS & Durga frags. I was a bit turned off that Jcrew started selling them figured just another brand trying to get $100 a bottle for crap.

Damn, I had no idea J Crew was selling them. Belgh.
I grabbed a bottle from a local shop, I work nearby so I also got a little discount.
Worth it at the slightly cheaper price. And Boston Ivy is the only scent from them that's ever appealed to me.
