What's your favorite Beer?

I'd ship you one but they apparently break easily in transit, just ask neph93…
You could kill a fucking elephant with this glass, that's how sturdy it is, but even if you wrap it in such an amount of bubblewrap that the size equals that of the Hindenburg (pre-fire), rest assure that some asshole postal worker drives over it with his car and shatters it...

I had an Orval last night while watching LFC draw their way to glory ::)
Seul is correct… of the six glasses sent from Belgium, all of which were expertly packed, five survived the trip to the grim north, three of which were long stemmed and delicate. Made no sense that the Orval glass, which you could indeed brain a mastadon with, should be the one to break. But that it did. Sod's Law of course, because it's a beautiful glass, and while I haven't yet had the experience of Orval from an Orval glass, I suspect it is a sublime one.
In short: best beer, best glass. neph93: I hope I'm able to pick one up soon… Of course all the stores I'm visiting are out of stock...
We'll sort this one out, old chap, no worries. Patience is a virtue and all that

Drinking Oerbier…

I'm fairly certain this is one of Belgium's best offerings, and breweries. Most fun part of their beers is that they all share a common smell and taste... You can àlways tell it's a Dolle beer...
It took me years to figure this one out, but in the last month or so, I've drank it twice (one Feb 2014 bottle which already showed remarkable evo), and it's finally all come together...
If you find this beer somewhere, buy it, try it, take your time...

My favorite beer east of the Mississippi River has got to be Yuengling lager. I grew up in PA and it is the oldest brewery in America. Nothing like watching the Steelers drinking one of those. West of the Mississippi has to be Fat Tire. Absolutely love this too.

As the weather has cooled, my purchases have transitioned to more appropriate brews. This week I picked up some Scotty Karate from Dark Horse, Storm King from Victory, a couple bottles of Delirium Tremens, and a Hemp Rye from The Hideout. The latter is a newer brewer out of Grand Rapids Mi that seems to delve into the experimental a bit, but is earning a decent rep around here pretty quickly. Scotty and the King are good as always, while I am anxious to try the Delirium.
