It's the end of my second week here at IHUK and Giles celebrates by leaving me in the office while he swans about in the Solent watching the Americas Cup boat races!

In retaliation i decided to redo his photographs of the tricky white denims… Just to show him how it's really done.

I think Sam's fit looks just great.
Now I am the dogged supporter of tight fits, and usually in the minority…..but for what it's worth, I think they fit really well. If I had been the sales guy in an brick and mortar store, I'd talk you out of the sizing up that Snowy might recommend.

Hi guys,

yes, the boots are Red Wings. I'll need to get paid a few times before I'll be evening sniffing at the Wescos. It doesn't help that they stare at me while I'm in the studio though. Apologies for offending you all  FORGIVE ME!

@Snowy I think they felt spot on in the waist department although I have put on a few pounds lately. The denim is so soft already so I hardly noticed. I've got a tag 32 on and with some wear they'd be perfect.

I've taken the plunge!

It was always indigo this and indigo that… but i've gone to the white. (for a bit anyway)

I'm going to post some photos of their evolution on here so you can see what happens to them. No doubt there will be chocolate stains and tomato sauce down one of the legs next week but it's all part of the "journey"

I guess I can always wash them if they get too mucky. That's if the paraffin coating will let me!

This stuff is amazing! And wicked to take pictures of in macro!

So, lets see what happens. There's already been a bit of indigo transfer… can't escape the stuff.

I'll keep you posted…

It for some reason was bugging me that the whites didn't have a leather patch on them so i thought i'd hand sew one on myself last night.

It went… well...ish

I somehow managed to bow and arrow the needle into my Knuckle… hilariously painful.
Anyway, i got there in the end

Could be worse… I once sewed a big patch on a jacket. When I had finished, I noticed I had sewn in onto the tablecloth...

The patch will bleed into the denim. That's probably why it isn't included in the new 666 model.

Ah maybe…

But there's a leather patch on the 634S-WH's and no complaints there. (@Giles certified)
