IHV-02DD - Double Indigo Duck Vest

I'm tempted to venture into the vest territory but the sizing has me hesitating. I typically wear a xxl in IH shirts. It seems like the most common advice is to go down a size in the vest, but a 22in p2p in the xl seems rather slim. I wear an xxl in the ihsh 111, 92 and the twsh 102. Does the xl in this vest seem like the way to go? Also, are there any chinos in those boxes?

I've just ordered my first IH vest and did loads og homework beforehand. I own some vests by a Norwegian brand called livid and that helped. I think the thing is that the chest measurements are taken a few cm lower on vests than they are on the shirts, so the P2P only seems prohibitive. I went with an L and I take XL in shirts (got some help from G and Aetas as well [emoji6])
That being said, I'll be wearing mine over t-shirts only. Maybe go XXL if you'll be layering.

I normally wear an XL…wondering if the XL will be too slim or just right...22.5-23 is a great fit for a trim fit for me.

I'm loving this piece and I think I like the fit. Only length seems potentially borderline. What do you guys think?
This is my first vest do feedback is highly appreciated indeed!@Giles I read this is supposed to shrink some. Enough to jeopardise the length in your opinion?

Mine left Gosport this morning and has to make it up to northern Norway. Won't be here until Thursday next week. But pics for sure when it gets here.
I reckon that fit is top notch, you should be chuffed. Nice clean lines and well matched with the shirt and bottoms.
I don't think it's too short at all. I think that's how they're supposed to fit. Well done [emoji123]

I think we're a similar size (remember from the Johnny Cash Western thread). I'm receiving the Wabash version of this next week, same cut same measurements, in a L. I take XL in shirts. I'll posts pics then and let you know how it works out. But I'm pretty sure its sure its size down from shirt size for snugness/ when worn with a tee (which is what I'm about), and normal shirt size for layering/shirts.
