RMC did something similar with Corcoran boots: https://www.realmccoys.co.jp/catalog/products/detail.php?product_id=1932
I guess the point is to sell things of a particular quality standard under the RMC name so that people will know what quality to expect. -
the archival reissue from PF made in Japan have nothing to do with RMC and not in any connection with them. It was a misunderstanding when they drop from Superdenim UK and The real Mccoys store in London. The all court low and the Hightop release this year were exclusive to Superdenim UK and also sold in RMC store London but not in any connection to RMC.
RMC have and produce their own military athletic sneaker.

RMC started stocking the '65 'All American' and 'All Court' in Feb 2011, at the time, and until now, they were the exclusive retailer.
These sneakers are not a collaboration, they were however commissioned by RMC (Japan).
How do I know this? I bought them in Japan in 2013 and was told by my friend who works at RMC…
They are now only available through Superdenim UK/ RMC (London).

This article seems to confirm what dylantbmayes is saying: http://www.propermag.com/site/pf-flyers-for-the-real-mccoys-2015-03

sorry but this was a wrong communication. there is some info in the RMC thread about the 2014 archival reissue. RMC is not involved in PF, they maybe retail it of course but thats another thing
http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1039.msg395638#msg395638there is also some info on this on denimbro as far as I remember as somebody asked BiG about this

There seems to be pretty conflicting information on denimbro, @davito.
I'll stick with the information from my friend at RMC (Japan) and just agree to disagree.

… it doesn't matter any way for me sneakers are great thats whats count
nice sunday
No arguing with that!

Much as I am opposed to sweatshop labour, and have actively campaigned against it, I have to say that no one makes trainers (sneakers to half the boards population) better than Nike.
Yes they might be stitched together by 8 year olds earning 5p a week, but they take a beating like no other trainers. I have Nikes that are 10 years old and still going strong.
but the quality isn't that great for their soccer boots. into my 3rd pair of mercurial superflys now. had a couple adidas f50s but they kept giving me blisters and the fit of nike is much better for my feet. the front of their plate splits in no time and soon the whole soleplate will go. but i still love them cause they're comfy and fits me best.

Let's make ________ great again is a great sentiment
what? I'm in the right place. It's good for folks to agree to disagree, all the polite nicey - nicey stuff isn't sincere & you want to be able to tell if someone actually likes you can't stand you hahahahaha
-
Hmmmm, let's try that:
Let's make madmonday great again!
Nope, doesn't work. You never stopped being great.

I think I may have expressed every unpopular opinion that I have, this thread has been great therapy for me

there are always 3 sides to every story. the 2 parties having the issue & then the unbiased truth. I'm not advocating or attempting to explain anything as it relates to any past or present forum members conduct, but you never know until you know . . . . hahahahaha
