I can't wait until it's boot weather again! RCs rock.
I just got the Tricot Marin shirt (Le Marin Rouge) - really nice - runs a bit big - I went with my normal size and soaked and put it in the dryer - I could have sized down perhaps - in any case I'm digging it. Paired here with Okinawa Topsiders. I also broke down and bought a Ranch Blouse Lot 64 U.S.

Yeah I also got one of these but in the other color way.
I'd say they are a little bit big, but the way the fabric is knit is doesn't allow for hardly any horizontal stretch. It's very interesting.
I´m looking for some lighter white t-shirts than 7.5oz for the summer and noticed the Sportsman Skivvy by M.F. Any recommendations for these?
Got the info, the quality isn´t fine as IH and IH sadly didn´t offer lighter t-shirts than 7.5oz

Got the info, the quality isn´t fine as IH and IH sadly didn´t offer lighter t-shirts than 7.5ozI really like the skivvy. I have the white and green. The fit is definitely different than IH. Another lighter weight tshirt that I have really enjoyed is Buzz Rickson.

Hi @Pavel Pipovič imho cant really compare the IH tees with the MF ones, diff style too. Both very nice
Skivvy is a nice 40s/50s style pretty slim shorter fit depending how you size. I have also a white and green in my usual small and like them, note that also the sleeves come a bit shorter Brando style like it was worn back then but in the usual MF interpretation.
The newer stanley tees do also look good in nice colorsYou can also look at ladywhite

Many thanks guys, i´ve ordered 2 white sunspell t-shirts to try out and compare.
I´m not the slim fit guy and i´ve noticed the new printed blue and olive MF stenley @rivetandhide and will wait when they get it in size XL (all my IH-tees are L but i think, after checking the measurements, the MF runs a bit smaller).

Not much else going on here so this is how the water looks when you soak a Watchman. Def different than the typical indigo.

I received mine today! How much shrink did you get on this soak? And, did the denim bleed in to the canvas?

I didn't take pre and post measurements but I think I lost a half inch in the chest and not so much in the length or sleeves. I do know that it feels a lot better and drapes better. It was a bit boxy before, a warm 30m tub soak with intermittent agitation helped. I did not experience any indigo transfer but I was very careful to keep the collar up and the cuffs open until everything was dry. I think a machine wash/dry would def cause transfer. Keep in mind I think we have two different versions. Mine is the two-tone but yours looks like the monotone. More pics when you get a sec please
