Going by the number of jeans in my closet I'd say I have a problem. And it's a bad one.  😶

Those are my principles, and if you don't like them…
      Well, I have others.

I hate my OCD, it's not something I admire, and something I look to let go of, instead of promote, let me say that now.

An example of mine is that all the coat hangers in my closet MUST face the same way (items face towards the right). I literally have troubles sleeping if I know or see a coat hanger facing the other way and often get out of bed at stupid times after battling it for hours, turn the coat hanger around, and then go to sleep soundly…

I have been known to measure the cuff of my jeans front, back, middle, on each cuff (IE double/triple cuff). Thankfully I'm just able to let that one go. It still bugs me knowing that I don't know if they are to the mm(1/10th") correct, but I'd spend hours doing it, and it'd be fucked up within a week by a mm or so, and I'd have to start all over again....I couldn't handle it, and in that instance, would rather deal with flared OCD than not...

I dunno if this is OCD, but I bought a second fridge cause the thought of my beers being exposed to 20+ temps was driving me insane… Oxidation is a chemical miracle I could've done without...

The same thing with the coat hangers (see unter 'What's in your closet ..'-thread) … facing the same way, same type and colour, ..
all my other garments, shoes, etc. are also very tidy .. same with my records; books; whatever ...
                    but I think, that's a 'collector-thing'

I can leave my flat or my car, without controlling the locks for several minutes .. and when I'm sure the lights or the stove is off - then all's well.

I swear gladly like a sailor .. but Tourette is another matter

Hmm? ... I think the psychiatric hospital have to wait for a while.  😎  🙂

this is a great thread. the thing where snowy mentioned about the cloth hangers. that is one that i'll have to do. it all have to face the same way, color arranged and type arranged otherwise i get irritated. the other thing i'm currently irritated about is that not all my hangers are the same.

well fair point there, considering ocd is a form of anxiety disorder…
