Went out to Jester King over the weekend, one of my favorite places in Austin.
Provenance ale fermented with lemon and lime, crisp and bitter. Not too sweet:

Provenance fermented with grapefruit and oranges, much more sweet. Tasted like a completely different beer:

And one more Provenance, this time a mixture of the two above but aged in mescal barrels. Really the standout of these three:

And Cervesa Sin Frontera, a few months down the road. This beer tasted completely different than the first time I had it. The sherry flavor was a lot more noticeable. Can't wait to see how the bottle I have ages:

The stuff from prairie looks great. I've only come across the prairie ale so far and it was very nice. The saison rue from the bruery is one of my favourites as well. This thread has been on point recently. I wish I could contribute more but I've been stuck in the beer wasteland of interior British Columbia. Hopefully I will get to the coast or Seattle/Portland soon to restock
