I bought my friend Phillip (and me and Jim), matching polarised swimming goggles.  It means we can run out to the flats even quicker thus losing less valuable fishing time….

Ha ! Unbelievable, all week on the local radio all I've heard about is the Birchall brothers, who are from the same town as me. Ben Birchall (the rider) was in my year at school from being 5 years old until leaving and now he's the local hero…..I still remember that he was the weird kid at school who would eat anything, even apple cores. Strange lad.
