Do you use Special camera Settings or lenses? I wish I could take such great Pictures, but I Need a certain distance with my current camera to get a focused Picture.

I think, he´s talking to you all, who takes such beautiful macro shots 🙂

@Max Power  There´re some lenses you can do both with (standard pics and macro shots) and there´re special marco lenses.

                          OK.

We have full frame Nikon D750 and D3

We plug these lenses on the front for Macro work:

Thank you. A Special macro lense is out of my Budget, yet it annoys me that my old camera did a better Job than my current one, although both have zoom lenses (18-55 and 18-105). I just need to keep a certain distance to the object to get a focused picture now, and that makes it impossible to get such close shots as above. Sorry for derailing, you can delete it if it's inapprobriate.

                            Continue please.

@Max Power  I am using my old Canon EOS 50D with Canon EF 100/2,8 L IS USM Macro 1:1
I am super happy with the lense but as I mentioned I need a tripod.

AF-S DX Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G on a D7100 here. Everything on full auto, no tripod, and the only editing I've done is cropping some of these pics. I like my rig but I probably need to take a class or two so I can maximize the potential of my setup (read use settings other than auto).

I was out taking pics of the new ihv-18 and figured I'd take a few Evo pics for this thread as well. Below are pics of some well worn 666D and IHxBxHCx25oz we have laying around  😘

@Max Power I use the Sigma lens for all the Macro pictures in here/ the product pages…  🙂

OK.  I'm loving thread so much, I'm going to run a competition.

Publish your best macro shots of IH gear here.

The best shot published between now and the end of June as decided by @Haraki-san, @Madame Buttonfly, @Axel and @Winchy  and me will win - wait for it - something very small (but probably worth winning).

Get on your hands and knees…...

Small print - I reserve the right to use your amazing photos, as I see fit on social media - if you want crediting say so in your post, otherwise they will be posted with no credit (sort of like I took them…....      😞 :-[[/size]
