          @Max:

          Ye, it's a nice Service. But I never understood the need for that to be honest.

          If you can read the size Charts and trust the given indication regarding shrinkage, you should be fine. If somebody else washes your Jeans, you can't control  or know what he's doing to them (i.e. did they wash hot or lukewarm - how much shrinkage might still be in there? Did they treat them gentle? …)

          Plus, the raw fit indicates what they might stretch back to. At least you need to know you have to account for a good amount of stretch in a one wash pair to judge wether they fit or not.

          I worte it a few years ago - raw everytime for me.

          I agree with @Max Power I prefer the raw jeans & I'll handle the soak

          Those are my principles, and if you don't like them…

                Finally soaked these & I'm so impressed.  I'm going to beat the shit out of them. You should make a t shirt - "IH. Built Like A Brick Shithouse."

                  Funnily enough when I was chatting with H last week and we were talking about the new 14oz denim, I said we should change our tagline from "We don't do light" to "We don't do crap"…...

                      Yep.  I mentioned it somewhere on the forum but can't remember where.  New sanforised 14.125oz indigo selvedge denim.  We ran a sample, did not like the selvedge ID, so have tweaked that and the denim is now in production, expect jeans to appear Feb.  The samples are amazing.  I'm aiming at a USD250 price point on these…...

                                Not to completely derail this thread, but what is the denim like? Slubby like the 18oz, smooth like the 21oz, loose weave, tight weave?

                                  Time will tell….All I know atm, is I liked it (as did everyone who saw it), but until my a pair of jeans made from it turn up here I'd be trusting my rather deficient memory.

                                    So I'm stuck in deciding on between these and the 634s-b.  These to me would be a change of pace to the 21oz. 634s that I've been wearing for the past 2 years. And the thigh on these seem to have more room.
                                    The color on the overdyed though looks fantastic.

                                    Also, if i end up with these should i go for size 33.  I wear a size 34 in the 634s.

                                          I don't think they will work, to get what will end up the right size in the waist, the thigh will be too small….
