After being told at the end of January that I was being made redundant, I've just signed the contract for a new role with the same company, just 3 days before the end of my notice period [emoji3]
The new role is a promotion, but also requires that I be site based, so I'll be commuting to Germany (and occasionally Norway) on a weekly basis, which means learning how to make better use of time at home with my family on weekends
