What would be the best place to buy those bandanas?
-
Think these chag-a-Lug and other sold out bandanas are pretty hard to find as bandanas are single runs afaik. Try mikko at panchoandlefty or BiG outside Japan. Or contact directly bandanna-almanac, Jonathan might be able to help as he works for Kapital and is curator of elephant bandana museum @Max Power

@maxpower I just found a couple of bandanas @ cottonsheep.com in San Francisco. Pricing is similar to unionmade.com but they have a couple that seem to be sold out elsewhere. I bought a purple "Yobai" which is a very similar pattern to @davito 's.

Hey guys, does anyone know of a retailer that ships to the US that stocks the suki-yaki shirts? P&L had them but are sold out.

Try Unionmade online.

Thanks for the heads up Sabergirl & Blackheart. I called cotton sheep and they do have what I want and it's on sale so I'm pretty happy! Pics when I get it. Thanks again.

My Kapital sukiyaki flannel arrived last night and here are a couple quick snaps. The fabric is mid-weight, complex, airy, and has a slight stretch to it.
The cut, like the fabric is very complicated. The yoke, dagger pockets, gathers, and multiple snaps make for an interesting piece of clothing. Wearing the shirt in the kimono fashion is comfortable and looks better than with the straight placket option.
So overall, the details and quality are on par with what I expected. It is a very unique shirt and one that will no doubt get a lot of attention. It isn't for everyone, and maybe a little weird but then again so am I
